POSITIONS VACANT
The Keppel Bay Sailing Club is offering 2 positions for enthusiastic people in the area of sailing.
The Capricorn Coast has an average daily temperature of 25° c. The Pacific Ocean borders 95km of pristine coastline stretching from Stanage Bay in the north to the mighty Fitzroy River in the south. The Coast and its Keppel Group of Islands boasts safe swimming waters all year and spectacular geographical diversity. Contrasts range from rainforest to reef, outback to wetlands, camping islands to mainland parabolic sand dunes.
Keppel Bay Sailing Club is committed to the Capricorn Coast community and the sport of sailing. It services 8000 members and is expanding its contribution to the community, the tourist industry and the local economy.

Sailing Development Officer
The position of Sailing Development Officer is to develop, prepare, promote and deliver a range of high quality coaching and training programs for club members and the community and manage the clubs training centre.

Trainee Sailing Instructor
(12 month Scholarship)The position of Trainee Sailing Instructor is a 12 month scholarship for a recent school-leaver.
You will be taking an active hands-on role in preparing and delivering the theory and practical training sessions relating to sailing, maintaining training equipment and the Club’s training vessels, ensure the safety of trainees and others during training exercises and assisting in the coordination and running of all Training Centre events. In return, the Club will provide training in order for you to obtain a range of possible qualifications according to your own career aspirations.
