Is it legal to limit the travel of mainsheet block/s on the rope hawse, to centre the sheeting?
I would join the tails and run to one cleat where Sabres typically adjust the length of their hawse, if it’s within the rules.
A second question – the rules mention the last block fixed to the floor then to the skipper’s hand – does that mean we can never sheet the sail from the boom, bypassing the last block?
