Just out of interest I towed my boat from Brisbane/Hobart/Brisbane. Both ways the diesel residue got under my cover and smudged the decks and hull. The only product I found that will remove it except car polish (fatal on the decks) was the pink spray can “New Formula VANISH Preen ORIGINAL”, the fabric stain remover I use on my clothes in the wash. The boat is sparkling. Now for the inside of my cover.
