Hi,
Two Qld Sabre sailors will be competing, sailing Sabre class dinghies, at this years Brass Monkey Regatta (Toukley SC).
For one sailor, it will be a dream come true – to sail in this prestigious event, for the other, it will be a time to remenisce a past Nationals at the same venue.
This posting made by Slow Hand, sailing incognito as Its an Illusion
and in collusion with Goanna masquerading as St George!
How did Slow Hand and Goanna procure these boats? Is this an invasion on NSW? Will Qld win SOR II?
a media release states: “After the regatta, Its an Illusion and St George will travel north with Sue and Anne – were the boats hijacked! are there pirates involved!”
Keep watching this thread for more info on the travels of these Sabres!
hello readers,
St George and It’s an Illusion sailed on the Saturday at Toukley, the weather then went to light winds and cold, so….
Anne and Sue had a holiday at Norah Head, then set off northward to Brisbane on the Monday.
Boats travelled well.
Its an Illusion sailed at RQYS last weekend and did well (was in disguise with a different sail number and the name ‘Slow Hand’ so as to not confuse the volunteers recording results).
Several people commented on the boat, its natural beauty, and attractiveness as an alternative class.
