Thanks for the results to date. Veeerrryy interesting!

I note that there are various scores shown for a DNF. These should be all 45 (one point more than the no. of entrants. Refer Appx A Clause A4.2).

I also see that there is no provision for a drop (or two??) in the Notice of Race. This means that Clause A2 applies – one drop regardless of the number of heats.

Any comments on these issues?

Hi peter reid here -gee checking out the national titles results is a bit scary- with some of my good friends and top sailors from here appearing to be either back in the pack of being forced to retire from races- sounds like a much more challenging event than was generally talked about pre christmas – i think i hold the record for the most sabre nationals sailed although i dont think there is an official record and who cares anyway so i thought i would have a low key new year this year look forward to hearing all about it from my many sabre sailing victorian friends both black rock and blairgowrie

I do appologise for not posting regular results, but those who have run an event would understand. This years nationals were raced in some very testing breezes and all skippers should be congratulated for their efforts. A very enjoyable National Championship was had by all!!!
Just ask some of the competitors about the introduction of the Sabre Cup???
