Notice of Race
Hallo dear sabre sailors. Just wanted to remind you we’re hosting the Sabre River Rats on Saturday 2nd March, and Maroochy Sailing Club’s annual Maroochy Head of the River on Sunday 3rd March.
We’re hoping to welcome you all to the Island and show off the lovely Maroochy River as well as our very special club!
For those super sturdy types….we have the hall available overnight for ‘campers’ and happy to assist you in ferrying any gear across, and kitchen and bathroom facilities are all available.
Our canteen is operational again after the 2011 flood damage and now quite stylish! I was experimented on yesterday for practice in using the fabulous coffee machine and there’ll be a great menu of simple lunches and snacks to keep us all going over the 2 days, plus a well stocked fridge for any celebrations.
It’s always a lovely weekend when you join us, and we’d love to hear back from all of you who’ll be coming. As a small group ourselves, any forward notice you could give by email or text, just assists us in being sure we’re your favourite hosts! (Thanks Lea for your apologies as you’ll be in SA.)
